This role will reside within the Industrial Security team within the Draper Security department to provide project and additional duty support. Assignments may include such disciplines as personnel clearances, classified information management, security auditing and inquiries, physical security, etc. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: shadowing security employees to learn their duties and responsibilities by working with security officers, industrial security specialists, and employees throughout the organization. The position will involve working on projects to improve overall security processes.
Program Details:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s / master’s degree program in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Security & Intelligence, Security Management or related field
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to ever-changing environments, risks, and vulnerabilities
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred competencies:
• Highly motivated, interest in the fields of security operations, services, methodologies and best practices
• Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
• A current or recent US Government security clearance is desired
