    Responsibilities

    Seeking candidate with a strong background in Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline. The ideal candidate will work on advanced projects and applications within the National Security and Space Systems Engineering division, and should have competency in some of the following: design, analysis, simulation, test, debug, coding, and Model Based Engineering. Strong written and verbal communications skills are required as well as the ability to present results to peers and management in formal and informal settings.

     

    Project areas may include:

    • System design and supporting trade studies
    • Network and Computer Science based cybersecurity studies
    • Design and test of low size, weight, and power embedded sensor systems
    • Integration and test of autonomous GN&C systems
    • Design of space and mission critical systems

    Qualifications

    Applicant must be a US citizen and enrolled in an accredited Engineering curriculum. The ideal candidate must be a fast, self-directed learner and must have a clearly exceptional academic record. Outstanding written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to work as part of a team, are essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, SPICE, Cadence or other similar modeling tools is a plus.
