The graduate summer student will contribute to research efforts in exploration of user needs, designing prototype and other system assets, assisting in planning and conducting user research, and working through design decisions with stakeholders in collaboration with the Human-Computer Interaction group. Projects may encompass a variety of interaction platforms, from Augmented Reality to mobile based to physical designs. Potential projects may include context aware situation awareness tools, android applications for first responders, or adaptive gesture based interaction systems. Candidate should be an outgoing self-starter who is inquisitive and excited to work in a collaborative team environment.


Study in Human Factors, UX/UI Design, Human Computer Interaction, Software Engineering, or other Human Centered Design related program
