The Draper Procurement Department is a centralized function that procures goods and services for the Laboratory. The Procurement Department provides advice, as well as the execution of the mechanics and administration for all procurement and/or subsequent purchases within an ethical and business integrity environment. Draper is required to comply with applicable Federal procurement regulations mandated by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
The procurement co-op will be given a thorough overview of the process for purchasing goods and services using both Draper and sponsored funding. The co-op will also become familiar with Draper’s procurement procedures and applicable FAR regulation, policies and procedures.
