Draper is seeking a candidate with a strong background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline. The position is as part of a team verifying flight computers and flight software for use in the Dream Chaser Spacecraft. The job will include understanding test and requirements documents, writing python code for test scripts, running automated test scripts, evaluating test results, and debugging. 

The applicant will join a team of highly motivated engineers in the test, validation, and verification of flight software for the next generation spacecraft to re-supply the International Space Station.  We seek applicants with strong interpersonal skills who will fit well in this dynamic team to ensure space readiness of the system.



  • Applicant must be a US citizen and enrolled in an accredited Engineering curriculum.
  • The ideal candidate must be a fast, self-directed learner, have an exceptional academic record and be proficient programming in python.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
  • Experience testing as part of a formal engineering process is a plus.
  • Candidate must have high competency in programming, test, and debug.
  • Proficiency with svn, git, and/or pytest is a plus.
