Responsibilities

Candidate will assist in the development and characterization on novel polymeric materials used in the production of high-reliability electronic and electro-mechanical systems. The student will assist in designing and conducting experimental polymeric synthesis, chemical analysis, and mechanical materials characterization. The student will assist in characterizing those chemical and physical properties important in manufacturing those systems. We will also be evaluating how those materials perform when deployed.

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have some familiarity with one or more of the following techniques: infrared spectroscopy, gas chromatography, or liquid chromatography. Course work in physical chemistry or analytical chemistry a plus.  Must be a U.S. citizen.
